Today was nearly a repeat of yesterday afternoon, but with more Cooper's Hawks, a few very far out and distant Bald Eagles and several Broad-winged Hawks. That's the way of hawkwatching--feast or famine, sometimes all in the same hour.
Monday? It's anyone's guess, but I'm expecting a decent day.

I've never actually gone somewhere to watch the hawks. Hey, if you are in PA, how come you didn't come to the NCTA conference? Many people would love to meet you.
Fantastic sky and view. It's been dark and stormy here on and off today too.
I really have to try and do this one of these days. The view, the birds…incredible. Love the photo.
Sharkbytes: I don't have enough vacation to go, plus I don't have the means to spend nights away. Even camping in campgrounds has gotten too expensive for me these days.
Griz: Some days hawkwatching is great. Some days the scenery is the star. It helps to go hawkwatching someplace where the scenery is always great, just in case the hawks aren't cooperating.
Countryside: Thanks! The clouds help the make the view even more interesting. of course, if there are no clouds and no hawks, someone can usually find a deer or wonder what exactly a farmer is doing in one of his fields.
