I am hoping this weekend doesn't bring any drama--no snowstorms, no power outages, no half of a tree falling onto my roof. I'd like a nice, quiet weekend with decent weather and perhaps a few hours of birding. Maybe an extra hour of sleep, too.
Do you think that might be arranged? I sure hope so.

Carolyn: Looking good so far (Saturday morning)! We've got Vesper, White-crowned, & White-throated Sparrows here in our fields, and one of my employees spotted a Woodcock yesterday.
That extra hour of sleep...no problem. Set your clock back one hour.
Scott: you sure did better this weekend than I did with sparrows. I thought I had a white-throated but wasn't sure. Had tons of song sparrows, but I would have liked to see something else. And the woodcock is a great sighting!
Sam: Apparently the rooster has his own clock. He still crowed at 5:30 a.m.
