I shower every single day because it helps me wake up, and because it's just my routine. Still--those numbers really make me eager to change the routine for the good of the earth. But the forces unleashed are well beyond our possibilities.

Do your little something but sit back and relax as the events unfold.Georghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05379915142029115257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15891819.post-54778232627026137802008-01-08T20:51:00.000-05:002008-01-08T20:51:00.000-05:00I don't take a shower everyday. I tried keep my showers short but I lose track very easily.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15891819.post-10223318910465010682008-01-08T15:58:00.000-05:002008-01-08T15:58:00.000-05:00Cicero: I agree about the shower overkill, especi...Cicero: I agree about the shower overkill, especially in cooler weather. The fastest way to feel cold in winter is to shower and strip away those natural oils. The coldest night I ever spent backpacking was the night after I cleaned up in a motel in the middle of winter trip.

Summer might be a different story.

Carolyn H.Carolyn Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03179182853082650546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15891819.post-81075936700600700482008-01-08T12:17:00.000-05:002008-01-08T12:17:00.000-05:00Personally, I think we've gone a little overkill o...Personally, I think we've gone a little overkill on this showering business! Most of us don't get dirty enough in a week let alone a day, to really require a full shower. When we were kids ... it was once a week unless your grimy bare feet needed a dusting down before bed! It is actually better for your skin, NOT to be scrubbed every day, stripping it of its natural oils. Then, if one is showering in chlorinated water every day ... dear, dear.

Speaking of bare feet ... do kids even go bare foot anymore?Cicero Singshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13438108795744902961noreply@blogger.com
